In Recent Months NFT Scams have been at a all time high. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have exploded in popularity in recent years, with artists, collectors, and investors all getting in on the action. However, as with any new and rapidly growing market, there are unfortunately also those who seek to take advantage of others through nft scams and fraudulent activities. Here are some tips on how to avoid NFT scams and protect yourself when buying or selling NFTs.
Research the seller:
Before making a purchase, it’s important to do your due diligence and research the seller. Check to see if they have a track record of selling NFTs and if they have any reputation within the NFT community. Look for reviews or feedback from previous buyers to get a sense of their reliability. It’s also a good idea to verify that the seller has a verified account on the platform they are using to sell the NFT.
Check the authenticity of the NFT:
